SHOW Nashville  Journey Church What began as a church plant initiative called SHOW Nashville has now grown into Journey Church Nashville—a vibrant and growing community with a heart to help people take their next step toward Jesus. It’s been amazing to watch this vision come to life, and we’re moving forward with great anticipation as we prepare to officially launch. In this email, you’ll find an update on what’s been happening, a look at what’s ahead, and specific ways you can be praying with us as we trust God to lead and provide in this exciting season.

Launch Team Growing, Training, & Equipping Our launch team has been steadily growing, both in number and in spiritual depth, as we journey together through Scripture, prayer, and intentional equipping. It's been exciting to watch this group develop a shared vision and hunger for what God is doing in and through this church plant. Each gathering strengthens our unity and prepares us to serve with purpose and humility. We’re praying that this team continues to expand—not just in size, but in passion, maturity, and readiness to help launch a church that reaches and transforms lives through the power of the gospel. Bible Studies & Community Building From January through May, our Bible studies have been an incredible space for connection and growth. It's been especially powerful to see people who are far from Jesus show up and begin forming meaningful relationships within the community. Each gathering has not only deepened our understanding of Scripture but also laid a strong relational and spiritual foundation for launching the church this fall. These early months have truly been a glimpse of what God is building through this new faith community. Next Steps Our First Preview Service! We’re thrilled for our very first preview service on Sunday, June 22nd at Carter-Lawrence Elementary School, right in the heart of downtown Nashville. This marks the beginning of monthly preview services through the summer—one each in June, July, and August—as we build toward our official launch on Sunday, September 7th. Our team has been praying and preparing for this day, and we’re excited for this first opportunity to gather for Sunday worship. God has already been forming meaningful community and opening doors to share the gospel, and now we step into this next phase with great anticipation.

Prayer We’d love your prayers over all of these areas—continued next steps for those who are far from Jesus, the numerical and spiritual growth of our launch team as we prepare and get equipped, and our first preview service on Sunday, June 22nd. We’re full of expectation and excitement to see how the Lord moves in this next season!
